Arrival and camel ride
Camps near Sam Sand Dunes open in the afternoon. After check-in you ride a camel across the dunes to watch the sunset. The ride is gentle and takes about 45 minutes.
Evening programme
After dark there is a bonfire, a folk music and dance show, and a traditional dinner of dal, bajra roti and sweets. Winter nights are cold, so bring a jacket.
