Pushkar is a small, calm pilgrimage town around a sacred lake, with more than fifty bathing ghats and one of the few Brahma temples in the world.

Evenings are for the lake aarti, mornings for a walk through the bazaar. In November the town hosts the Pushkar Camel Fair, one of the most colourful gatherings in India.
